  • Elected, 1994; Re-elected, 1998 & 2002
  • The jurisdiction of Northport Village Court is concurrent with that of Suffolk County's District Court. In regular session every Monday, the Village Justice arraigns felonies and tries misdemeanors before juries.  The Court also hears traffic infractions and local ordinance violations. The court is served by the Suffolk County District Attorney; Probation Department; Sheriff; Legal Aid Society and Commissioner of Jurors. 
  • Written decisions have been published in the New York Law Journal and The Suffolk Lawyer.

  • Appointed by Suffolk County Executive Robert Gaffney as judicial representative on interdisciplinary team studying criminal justice and population issues in county correctional center.

  • Appointed by three Suffolk County District Administrative Judges (Hon. Mary M. Werner; Hon. A. Gail Prudenti & Hon. Alan Oshrin) to run program of Continuing Judicial Education for County's entire Town and Village Justice Court bench.

Paul H. Senzer was raised on Long Island and has been a resident of Northport Village since 1983. He is married to local Doctor of Audiology, Cheryl L. Senzer. The Senzer children are Allison, age 18; Michael, age 13 and James, age 11.
